SuperCool™Gingerol™
is an enhanced ginger product, which is standardized by the bioactive
constituents, gingerols and shogaols. Ginger, Zingiber officinale
Roscoe (Family Zingiberaceae), was used in China as early as
the fourth century B.C.
Chinese medical texts from the fourth century suggest that ginger is effective
in treating nausea, diarrhea, stomachaches, cholera, toothaches, bleeding
and rheumatism. Modern medical use of ginger dates back to the early 1980s
when the first double-blind study of ginger was performed. Ginger is on
the FDA’s GRAS (generally regarded as safe) list as a food.
Aphios' scientists and engineers utilized its patented polarity-guided
SuperFluids™
fractionation and manufacturing technologies to develop its enhanced ginger
product with a standardized concentration of gingerol and shogaol. Aphios’
ginger product is thus free of potentially toxic organic solvents. These
products are manufactured from certified organically grown ginger rhizomes
and are measured to be free of herbicides, pesticides and heavy metals.
SuperCool™Gingerol™ is then formulated into all-natural
liquid excipients designed to maximize the stability and bioavailability
of the bioactive constituents.
